When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd,2You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice,2"You shall not follow the masses in doing evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after a multitude in order to pervert justice;2Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:2You must not follow a crowd in wrongdoing. Do not testify in a lawsuit and go along with a crowd to pervert justice.
3and do not show favoritism to a poor person in a lawsuit.3nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit.3nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his dispute.3Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.3Do not show favoritism to a poor person in his lawsuit."

Do not kill the innocent and the just, because I will not justify the guilty.
8"Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent.8And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.8"You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of the just.8And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.8You must not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and corrupts the words of the righteous.

You know the heart of a sojourner, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.9"You shall not oppress a stranger, since you yourselves know the feelings of a stranger, for you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.9Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.9You must not oppress a foreign resident; you yourselves know how it feels to be a foreigner because you were foreigners in the land of Egypt."

Sabbath Laws

(Leviticus 25:1-7; Deuteronomy 15:1-6)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
10"For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops,10“For six years you shall sow your land and gather in its yield,10"You shall sow your land for six years and gather in its yield,10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:10Sow your land for six years and gather its produce.
11but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what is left. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.11but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the beasts of the field may eat. You shall do likewise with your vineyard, and with your olive orchard.11but on the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, so that the needy of your people may eat; and whatever they leave the beast of the field may eat. You are to do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.11But during the seventh year you are to let it rest and leave it uncultivated, so that the poor among your people may eat from it and the wild animals may consume what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove."
12"Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed.12“Six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant woman, and the alien, may be refreshed.12"Six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as your stranger, may refresh themselves.12Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.12Do your work for six days but rest on the seventh day so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave as well as the foreign resident may be refreshed."
13"Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.13“Pay attention to all that I have said to you, and make no mention of the names of other gods, nor let it be heard on your lips.13"Now concerning everything which I have said to you, be on your guard; and do not mention the name of other gods, nor let them be heard from your mouth.13And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.13Pay strict attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips."

20"See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.20“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.20"Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.20Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.20I am going to send an angel before you to protect you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared.
21Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.21Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him.21"Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name is in him.21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.21Be attentive to him and listen to his voice. Do not defy him, because he will not forgive your acts of rebellion, for My name is in him.
22If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.22“But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.22"But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.22But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.22But if you will carefully obey him and do everything I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
23My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.23“When my angel goes before you and brings you to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, and I blot them out,23"For My angel will go before you and bring you in to the land of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will completely destroy them.23For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.23For My angel will go before you and bring you to the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.

24Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces.24you shall not bow down to their gods nor serve them, nor do as they do, but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their pillars in pieces.24"You shall not worship their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their deeds; but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their sacred pillars in pieces.24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.24You must not bow down to their gods or worship them. Do not imitate their practices. Instead, demolish them and smash their sacred pillars to pieces.
25Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,25You shall serve the LORD your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.25"But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.25Worship the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. I will remove illnesses from you.
26and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.26None shall miscarry or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.26"There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.26There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.26No woman will miscarry or be childless in your land. I will give you the full number of your days."
27"I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.27I will send my terror before you and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.27"I will send My terror ahead of you, and throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.27I will cause the people ahead of you to feel terror and throw into confusion all the nations you come to. I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you in retreat.
28I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.28And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you.28"I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites before you.28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.28I will send the hornet in front of you, and it will drive the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites away from you.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
29But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you.29I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you.29"I will not drive them out before you in a single year, that the land may not become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.29I will not drive them out ahead of you in a single year; otherwise, the land would become desolate, and wild animals would multiply against you.
30Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.30Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land.30"I will drive them out before you little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land.30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.30I will drive them out little by little ahead of you until you have become numerous and take possession of the land.
31"I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.31And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.31"I will fix your boundary from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River Euphrates; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you will drive them out before you.31And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.31I will set your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates River. For I will place the inhabitants of the land under your control, and you will drive them out ahead of you.
32Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.32You shall make no covenant with them and their gods.32"You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.32You must not make a covenant with them or their gods.
33Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you."33They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”33"They shall not live in your land, because they will make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you."33They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.33They must not remain in your land, or else they will make you sin against Me. If you worship their gods, it will be a snare for you."
