The Ark Rests on Ararat

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
1But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.1But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided.1But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided.1And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;1God remembered Noah, as well as all the wildlife and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water began to subside.
2Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.2The fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained,2Also the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky was restrained;2The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;2The sources of the watery depths and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky stopped.
3The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down,3and the waters receded from the earth continually. At the end of 150 days the waters had abated,3and the water receded steadily from the earth, and at the end of one hundred and fifty days the water decreased.3And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.3The water steadily receded from the earth, and by the end of 150 days the waters had decreased significantly.
4and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.4and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.4In the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat.4And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.4The ark came to rest in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.
5The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.5And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.5The water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible.5And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.5The waters continued to recede until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were visible.

Noah Sends a Raven and a Dove

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
6After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark6At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made6Then it came about at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made;6And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:6After 40 days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made,
7and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.7and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.7and he sent out a raven, and it flew here and there until the water was dried up from the earth.7And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.7and he sent out a raven. It went back and forth until the waters had dried up from the earth.
8Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.8Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground.8Then he sent out a dove from him, to see if the water was abated from the face of the land;8Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;8Then he sent out a dove to see whether the water on the earth's surface had gone down,
9But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.9But the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him.9but the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, so she returned to him into the ark, for the water was on the surface of all the earth. Then he put out his hand and took her, and brought her into the ark to himself.9But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.9but the dove found no resting place for her foot. She returned to him in the ark because water covered the surface of the whole earth. He reached out and brought her into the ark to himself.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
10He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.10He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.10So he waited yet another seven days; and again he sent out the dove from the ark.10And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;10So Noah waited seven more days and sent out the dove from the ark again.
11When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.11And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.11The dove came to him toward evening, and behold, in her beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth.11And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.11When the dove came to him at evening, there was a plucked olive leaf in her beak. So Noah knew that the water on the earth's surface had gone down.
12He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.12Then he waited another seven days and sent forth the dove, and she did not return to him anymore.12Then he waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; but she did not return to him again.12And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.12After he had waited another seven days, he sent out the dove, but she did not return to him again.

Exiting the Ark

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
13By the first day of the first month of Noah's six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.13In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry.13Now it came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried up.13And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.13In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the water that had covered the earth was dried up. Then Noah removed the ark's cover and saw that the surface of the ground was drying.
14By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried out.14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.14And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.14By the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the earth was dry.
15Then God said to Noah,15Then God said to Noah,15Then God spoke to Noah, saying,15And God spake unto Noah, saying,15Then God spoke to Noah, "
16"Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.16“Go out from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.16"Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives with you.16Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.16Come out of the ark, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons' wives with you.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
17Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you--the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground--so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it."17Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—that they may swarm on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”17"Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth."17Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.17Bring out all the living creatures that are with you--birds, livestock, those that crawl on the ground--and they will spread over the earth and be fruitful and multiply on the earth."
18So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives.18So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.18So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him.18And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:18So Noah, along with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives, came out.
19All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds--everything that moves on land--came out of the ark, one kind after another.19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by families from the ark.19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by their families from the ark.19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.19All wildlife, all livestock, every bird, and every creature that crawls on the earth came out of the ark by their groups.

Noah Builds an Altar

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
20Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.20Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.20Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.20And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.20Then Noah built an altar to the LORD. He took some of every kind of clean animal and every kind of clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.21And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.21The LORD smelled the soothing aroma; and the LORD said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.21When the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, He said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, even though man's inclination is evil from his youth. And I will never again strike down every living thing as I have done.
22"As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."22While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”22"While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease."22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.22As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease."
