2"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'After you enter the land I am giving you as a home2“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving you,2"Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land where you are to live, which I am giving you,2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,2Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land I am giving you to settle in,
3and you present to the LORD food offerings from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD--whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings--3and you offer to the LORD from the herd or from the flock a food offering or a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing aroma to the LORD,3then make an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a special vow, or as a freewill offering or in your appointed times, to make a soothing aroma to the LORD, from the herd or from the flock.3And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock:3and you make a fire offering to the LORD from the herd or flock--either a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow, or as a freewill offering, or at your appointed festivals--to produce a pleasing aroma for the LORD,

9bring with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil,9then one shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil.9then you shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-half a hin of oil;9Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.9a grain offering of six quarts of fine flour mixed with two quarts of oil must be presented with the bull.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
10and also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.10And you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.10and you shall offer as the drink offering one-half a hin of wine as an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the LORD.10And thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.10Also present two quarts of wine as a drink offering. It is a fire offering of pleasing aroma to the LORD.
11Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner.11“Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each lamb or young goat.11'Thus it shall be done for each ox, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the goats.11Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.11This is to be done for each ox, ram, lamb, or goat.
12Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.12As many as you offer, so shall you do with each one, as many as there are.12'According to the number that you prepare, so you shall do for everyone according to their number.12According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.12This is how you must prepare each of them, no matter how many."
13"'Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.13Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD.13'All who are native shall do these things in this manner, in presenting an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the LORD.13All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.13Every Israelite is to prepare these things in this way when he presents a fire offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
14For the generations to come, whenever a foreigner or anyone else living among you presents a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, they must do exactly as you do.14And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or anyone is living permanently among you, and he wishes to offer a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD, he shall do as you do.14If an alien sojourns with you, or one who may be among you throughout your generations, and he wishes to make an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the LORD, just as you do so he shall do.14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.14When a foreigner resides with you or someone else is among you and wants to prepare a fire offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD, he is to do exactly as you do throughout your generations.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
15The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the LORD:15For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the LORD.15As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before the LORD.15One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.15The assembly is to have the same statute for both you and the foreign resident as a permanent statute throughout your generations. You and the foreigner will be alike before the LORD.
16The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.'"16One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”16'There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the alien who sojourns with you.'"16One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.16The same law and the same ordinance will apply to both you and the foreigner who resides with you."
17The LORD said to Moses,17The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,17Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,17The LORD instructed Moses: "
18"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land to which I am taking you18“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land to which I bring you18"Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land where I bring you,18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,18Speak to the Israelites and tell them: After you enter the land where I am bringing you,
19and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the LORD.19and when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall present a contribution to the LORD.19then it shall be, that when you eat of the food of the land, you shall lift up an offering to the LORD.19Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.19you are to offer a contribution to the LORD when you eat from the food of the land.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
20Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.20Of the first of your dough you shall present a loaf as a contribution; like a contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you present it.20'Of the first of your dough you shall lift up a cake as an offering; as the offering of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up.20Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.20You are to offer a loaf from your first batch of dough as a contribution; offer it just like a contribution from the threshing floor.
21Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the LORD from the first of your ground meal.21Some of the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD as a contribution throughout your generations.21'From the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD an offering throughout your generations.21Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your generations.21Throughout your generations, you are to give the LORD a contribution from the first batch of your dough."

Offerings for Unintentional Sins

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
22"'Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the LORD gave Moses--22“But if you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments that the LORD has spoken to Moses,22'But when you unwittingly fail and do not observe all these commandments, which the LORD has spoken to Moses,22And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,22When you sin unintentionally and do not obey all these commands that the LORD spoke to Moses--
23any of the LORD's commands to you through him, from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come--23all that the LORD has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations,23even all that the LORD has commanded you through Moses, from the day when the LORD gave commandment and onward throughout your generations,23Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;23all that the LORD has commanded you through Moses, from the day the LORD issued the commands and onward throughout your generations--
24and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.24then if it was done unintentionally without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one bull from the herd for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and one male goat for a sin offering.24then it shall be, if it is done unintentionally, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one bull for a burnt offering, as a soothing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.24Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.24and if it was done unintentionally without the community's awareness, the entire community is to prepare one young bull for a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and drink offering according to the regulation, and one male goat as a sin offering.
25The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the LORD for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering.25And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, because it was a mistake, and they have brought their offering, a food offering to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD for their mistake.25'Then the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and they will be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their error.25And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:25The priest must then make atonement for the entire Israelite community so that they may be forgiven, for the sin was unintentional. They are to bring their offering, one made by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD for their unintentional sin.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
26The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.26And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the mistake.26So all the congregation of the sons of Israel will be forgiven, with the alien who sojourns among them, for it happened to all the people through error.26And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.26The entire Israelite community and the foreigner who resides among them will be forgiven, since it happened to all the people unintentionally."
27"'But if just one person sins unintentionally, that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.27“If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.27'Also if one person sins unintentionally, then he shall offer a one year old female goat for a sin offering.27And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.27If one person sins unintentionally, he is to present a year-old female goat as a sin offering.
28The priest is to make atonement before the LORD for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.28And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.28'The priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who goes astray when he sins unintentionally, making atonement for him that he may be forgiven.28And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.28The priest must then make atonement before the LORD on behalf of the person who acts in error sinning unintentionally, and when he makes atonement for him, he will be forgiven.
29One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.29You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them.29You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the sons of Israel and for the alien who sojourns among them.29Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.29You are to have the same law for the person who acts in error, whether he is an Israelite or a foreigner who lives among you."
30"'But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes the LORD and must be cut off from the people of Israel.30But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the LORD, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.30But the person who does anything defiantly, whether he is native or an alien, that one is blaspheming the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.30But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.30But the person who acts defiantly, whether native or foreign resident, blasphemes the LORD. That person is to be cut off from his people.
31Because they have despised the LORD's word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.'"31Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.”31Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him.'"31Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.31He will certainly be cut off, because he has despised the LORD's word and broken His command; his guilt remains on him."

A Sabbath-Breaker Stoned

(Exodus 31:12-17)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
32While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.32While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.32Now while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the sabbath day.32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.32While the Israelites were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly,33And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation.33Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation;33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.33Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses, Aaron, and the entire community.
34and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.34They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him.34and they put him in custody because it had not been declared what should be done to him.34And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.34They placed him in custody because it had not been decided what should be done to him.
35Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp."35And the LORD said to Moses, “The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.”35Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp."35And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.35Then the LORD told Moses, "The man is to be put to death. The entire community is to stone him outside the camp."
36So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses.36And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, as the LORD commanded Moses.36So all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.36And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.36So the entire community brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

The Law of Tassels

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
37The LORD said to Moses,37The LORD said to Moses,37The LORD also spoke to Moses, saying,37And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,37The LORD said to Moses, "
38"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.38“Speak to the people of Israel, and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner.38"Speak to the sons of Israel, and tell them that they shall make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and that they shall put on the tassel of each corner a cord of blue.38Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:38Speak to the Israelites and tell them that throughout their generations they are to make tassels for the corners of their garments, and put a blue cord on the tassel at each corner.
39You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.39And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.39"It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, so as to do them and not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you played the harlot,39And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:39These will serve as tassels for you to look at, so that you may remember all the LORD's commands and obey them and not become unfaithful by following your own heart and your own eyes.
40Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God.40So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.40so that you may remember to do all My commandments and be holy to your God.40That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.40This way you will remember and obey all My commands and be holy to your God.
41I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God.'"41I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the LORD your God.”41"I am the LORD your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God; I am the LORD your God."41I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.41I am Yahweh your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God; I am Yahweh your God."
